Go is a popular programming language used for microservices and concurrency. Thanks to its speed and ease of use, it has been adopted by companies such as Google, Dropbox, Uber and Apple. It was designed by Google engineers and introduced in 2009, which makes it relatively young - and, as a result, not all that well known.
